We have stepped out to reach out to the communities around us. Agape House Babies House gives these children the opportunity not only to have a chance at life, but also to have a family, the chance for relationship with their biological mothers, a safe place to sleep, good food, and medical care.

Despite their limited facilities and resources the primary and secondary schools strive to provide an education to local children and boarders from further afield, and to 120 resident orphans and needy children who have been referred to Pastor Ivan from many parts of Uganda. In Uganda education provides the main hope of escaping poverty and living an independent life. Although living conditions at the orphanage are quite poor, the children are being cared for in a loving environment where they feel valued and special. Pastor Ivan’s elder sister Ruth runs the clinic which is open 24 hours a day and treats up to 450 people a month. In addition to treating fee paying patients, the clinic treats the poor who would be turned away from other medical centres. The church brings people from all tribes and backgrounds together and is at the heart of community life. All Saints’ Cathedral Kampala (ASCK) is the city Parish of Kampala Diocese and is the seat of the Bishop of the Diocese of Kampala who is also the Archbishop of the Province of the Church of Uganda. The parish was founded in 1912 as a chaplaincy of a European colonial hospital and has grown and attained the status of Cathedral for the Archbishop of Church of Uganda. They used to meet at Pastor Laban’s home, the current location of the church, located in Kansanga, Mutesasira zone. The Eden Revival Church is a christian non-government organisation. It has worked with communities in uganda since 1983. Bishop Morris Bukenya founded the ministry with a mission to take healing to the hurting world. Since its establishment the ministry has expanded it operations to 12 districts namely Fortportal, Rakai, Kampala, Mukono, Kayunga, Mpigi, Masaka, Kalangala, Tororo, Kyenjojo, Wakiso and Mbarara. The Towering house of God stands on top of one of the original seven hills that make up the city of Kampala. Visible from all angles, especially in downtown Kampala, St Mary's and Sacred Heart Cathedral Rubaga, is indeed a city landmark hardly missed by visitors coming to the Pearl of Africa. Three Popes have been here in the past. It was again here on July 29, 1969 that Pope Paul VI closed the African bishops Synod hosted by Uganda while Pope John Paul II too came here on February 8, 1993, where he met Catholic bishops and priests after a prayer service. He planted a tree in the courtyard and also inaugurated the memorial clock near the parish entrance. Besides the Popes, The Archbishop of Canterbury Robert Runcie on January 28, 1984, visited Rubaga Cathedral and conducted a joint prayer with Emmanuel Cardinal Nsubuga. So did Archbishop Runcie's successor George Carey in the early 1990s. Archbishop Carey planted a tree outside the cathedral, which still stands today.

The Church of the Nazarene is a Protestant Christian church in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. Organized in 1908, the denomination is now home to about 2.5 million members worshipping in more than 30,000 local congregations in 162 world areas. The Church of the Nazarene Global Ministry Center, located in Lenexa, Kansas, is the administrative hub for the church. Through this center, Nazarenes reach across borders and boundaries to profoundly assist countless support efforts around the world, including pastors and laypeople in local churches, hospitals, educational facilities, training programs, and disaster relief. The Church of Uganda is a Jesus-loving, Bible-believing, Spirit-filled Anglican Church engaged in the mission of Jesus Christ in today’s world. the Church of Uganda is a faster growing, sustainable, Christ Centred Church.

Father Yozefu Ssemakula, (commonly known as Father Joseph), was born in 1964 and ordained to the Catholic priesthood in 1993 in Kampala, Uganda. He is currently serving at the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee in Florida, and is also a PhD student of Clinical Psychology in Washington DC. Father Joseph has been involved in the healing and prayer ministry for families for several years in the United States and has obtained wonderful results for individuals, couples, and families of those attending his seminars. Father Joseph has also traveled internationally conducting Healing Seminars in countries such as Panama, St. Lucia, Italy, France, South Africa, United Kingdom, the Philippines, Canada, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Trinidad & Tobago, Malaysia and Uganda.

We are a youth and Children's ministry in Uganda

We realize the responsibility of discipleship belongs to the family, but we as a church, need to be a strong encouragement and support to our families. Our Children’s Ministry is committed to providing Jesus Christ’s example of love and acceptance to the children we minister to. Additionally, we are committed to biblical teaching to help our children grow in their love and knowledge of Jesus Christ. We are also committed to evangelizing children, giving them the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and to encourage them to share their Savior with their family, friends, and neighbours. Finally, as the kids learn to love and trust the Bible, it is our hope they will learn to love God and desire to serve Him. “Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men” Luke 2:52. Our goal is to help the kids continue to grow spiritually and be a light to the world around them.

The Uganda Episcopal Conference is the Assembly of the Catholic Hierarchy in Uganda, constituted with the approval of the Holy See, through which Bishops express their collegial responsibility through collective action, to assure the progress of the Church and coordination of its social and pastoral ministry. It is headed by a Chairman elected every four years. He is assisted by an Executive Board, also chosen every four years, composed of six Chairmen of various Commissions. The Episcopal Conference of Uganda was founded in 1960.

Uganda is the first country below south of the Sahara on the African continent where the Orthodox faith germinated among the indigenous Africans in 1929. Gradually, the faith was echoed to many parts of the country from central Buganda to the East, North, West and beyond in Eastern Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi. The government of Uganda recognized the Orthodox faith in 1946. Currently, the Orthodox faith in Uganda consists of Two (2) administrative structures which include the Holy Metropolis of Kampala and all Uganda headed by His Eminence Metropolitan Jonah Lwanga and the Holy Diocese of Gulu and Eastern Uganda headed by His Grace Bishop Silvester Kisitu. The headquarters of the Orthodox Church in Uganda is located at Namungoona a suburb of the capital city Kampala (6kms on Hoima road). The clergy consists of a team of 76 priests and 5 deacons. There are over 100 communities, 41 brick and mortars churches, 17 medical clinics and one Holy Cross Orthodox Hospital.
