Tangaza was formed in 2006 by local Ugandans that have a passion for nature. The promoters of Tangaza also operate lodges mainly in the Lake Bunyonyi and soon near Nkuringo/Bwindi Forest Areas in South Western Uganda. Tangaza was named so because the word literally means ‘amaze’ in the local ankole language. This word also means ‘show’ or ‘display’ in Swahili. Tangaza has developed a network amongst the premier tour and lodge operators in Uganda over the years and has kept abreast of new developments in the tourism sector locally. Our policy is to treat each client individually according to their requests and try as much as possible to arrange safari’s according to their preferences.
