At Mrembo Spa, we celebrate and share Zanzibar’s time-honoured knowledge of natural beauty, we invite people to relax, enjoy and meet in an inspiring atmosphere, and we provide livelihoods for 10+ Zanzibari families.

Mrembo spa is a small traditional spa with two Zanzibar locations offering ancient beauty rituals from Pemba and Unguja. Only locally grown flowers, herbs and spices are used in 100% natural remedies that date back hundreds of years but are still used today by elderly Swahili coast women.

The Spa offers Signature Treatments such as Singo Traditional Body Scrub, Kidonge, Clove Scrub. We have a Taarab Music Shop, a special room created and used by Matona and his band ?G-Clef? for the selling of various Taarab music, and for rehearsing for their various tours and gigs around Zanzibar and worldwide performances.
