Kenya’s opposition leader Raila Odinga has called for another election after boycotting the repeat elections organised on October 26.
Odinga told his supporters on Sunday that the National Super Alliance (NASA) party wants election in 90 days as he discredited the rerun which was marred by violence and low turnout.
“Our position is to carry out a credible election in 90 days. We told people to stay at home and they heeded our call. The President and his deputy have lost the mandate to speak on behalf of Kenyans. They only speak for themselves,” he was quoted by local news portal Daily Nation.
Odinga made the address at the Kawangware 56 neighbourhood where political groups clashed during the election rerun disrupting the process
