National Research Center (NRC) is Egypt’s largest multidisciplinary governmental research institution headquartered in Dokki, Giza and operating under the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Established in 1956, NRC conducts applied and strategic research across scientific fields including agriculture, medical sciences, chemistry, engineering, biological sciences and environmental studies. The center provides laboratory testing, scientific consultancy, technology transfer and innovation support to public and private sector entities, while also contributing to national development plans, food security, industrial advancement and scientific capacity building across Egypt and the wider region.
