Founded in 1985 in the heart of the city of El Jadida in Doukkala-Abda, the Chouaïb Doukkali University was born with two universities, the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences. Today, the University consists of five academic institutions by creating the Polydisciplinary Faculty (2004), the National School of Business and Management (2006) and the National School of Applied Sciences (2008). The University includes five universities, three of which are open access and two are regulated access (access by competitive examination).
