Pamoja Theatre is a registered mobile participatory theatre troupe and a Film company in East Africa with its head offices in Kampala Uganda. Pamoja Theatre travels through the region with its multi-ethnic theatre troupe. It provides the region with a participatory theatre hub during its travel, using drama and Theatre, with other art forms for social, political and economical harmony. The troupe travels from country to country carrying out applied theatre training and performances for the people and also providing people with an opportunity to participate in participatory theatre activities. Pamoja Theatre draws attention to the term “participatory”. Participation involves the voice of the participants guided by the Facilitators. Participatory Theater is democratic and based on dialogue.
