ADOVIC is a woman led organization that was started by six members with a vision to have families living harmoniously without domestic violence. It started in 2012 as a community based organization in memory of those who were abused, battered, and murdered by the very people who were supposed to love, cherish and protect them. and is now a fully established non government organization authorized to operate country wide, with a secretariat in Jinja and focuses on five program areas:
