Bridge of Hope Children’s Ministry is a Christian charity founded in the UK in 2008 by Geoff & Barbara Skerratt. We support children in the district of Rukungiri, South West Uganda who are orphaned, abandoned or living in extreme poverty. We believe that God has called us to serve those living in extreme poverty regardless of religious or social background. img_1215In the UK the Trustees, Advocates and Volunteers of Bridge of Hope Children’s Ministry all give their time voluntarily and are dedicated to supporting the work of the charity. This enables us to keep all administration costs to a minimum and we can use our incoming resources to benefit the children in Uganda. In Uganda Bridge of Hope Children’s Ministry is employing over twenty people including a manager, two field workers, cleaners, cooks, teachers and house mothers to care for the children.
