Mission CEDO’s mission is to promote the rights of children to a healthy, secure and value adding childhood. This is to be achieved by empowering communities to improve the quality of their lives thereby enabling them build a sustainable community with improved standards of living.CEDO-Uganda’s strategic goal for the period 2015-2019 is: “The realization of Sustainable and Secure Livelihoods Among poor Children and their Families,and Achievement of Positive Changes In their Overall Position and Condition”. Underlying the above overall goal is the recognition that sustainable improvements in the quality of life of marginalized children and their families crucially depend upon their empowerment to assert claims and act collectively for the progressive realization of their rights.
