CCI is a non -profit organization operating in Uganda with head office based in lira, northern Uganda. The organization is registered both locally and nationally with lira District Local Government Reg. No LDLG/2012/145 and National NGO Board Registration No. 8477 respectively. bill-wegener-TVe6a1JUcCE-unsplash CCI was started by a person of humanity and passion after witnessing the state and level of suffering that children, women, PWDs and the youth were going through, especially in Northern Uganda. For over 22 years of lord’s Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) insurgency in the region inflicted a lot of suffering to these communities especially the children, women, PWDs and the youth; where thousands of them were abducted, abused, raped, tortured and forcefully recruited into rebel ranks and witnessed all sorts of human rights abuses. This has reduced the quality of human life in northern Uganda, where children, women, youth and adults have lost dignity and means of livelihood.
