Connect Africa Ministries is a relational, faith-based organization that exists to empower individuals through outreach and training in appropriate technologies for sustainable community transformation. Trevor & Jana Tychon founded Connect Africa Ministries in 2003 to reach out to individuals displaced by war in Northern Uganda. Through various outreaches and in building relationships within several communities, it became apparent that the need for clean water, sanitation and appropriate building materials and growing methods would be critical to helping individuals rebuild their lives. This has proved true not only in conflict areas but for those seeking affordable solutions. What started in Uganda has started to grow and has spread throughout East Africa.
