Rev. Samuel Juma and his wife launched FULAA in 1996 in an effort to meet the needs of the South Sudanese refugees. Pastor Juma continues as the Executive Director of FULAA. The Board of Directors which governs Fulaa is chaired by the Rev. William Kynes, senior pastor of Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church in Annandale, VA. Fulaa Lifeline International is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Christian ministry incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia.Rebuilding Lives South Sudan is a region that has been ravaged by war. Civil war has resulted in serious destruction with more than 2 million people killed, and more than 4 million displaced as refugees.
