Haemophilia Foundation of Uganda (HFU) is a registered non government organisation working to create positive change in the lives of Ugandans with bleeding disorders. Today, HFU serves patients from parts of the country. Our story is a very humble one, but is filled with determination to improve the lives of people living with bleeding disorders. The initial seeds were sowed by Satish Pillai, He showed us that it is possible to source for factor donations from generous organisations and to avail it to beneficiaries at no cost. It is also possible to bring together patients living with haemophilia to share knowledge, and to jointly address the challenges that affect us all. Ours is a journey, we keep walking and moving forward, together !
