In 2014, having been exposed to NGOs, government institutions and individual special needs children in their homes, a group of professionals passionate about children’s wellbeing, concerned by ineffective services to special needs children in Uganda, injustices and inequality to such children joined together and founded Imagination. Children’s Learning Centre. The founders were inspired by inner passion and are continuously motivated by parents and caregivers who recognize such needs, and the new government direction to strengthen efforts in all inclusive education. Imagination Children’s Learning Centre gives Hope to children through awareness, empowerment and research to address the development concerns of children especially those with special needs.
