Kagumu Development Organization (KADO) is a national membership organization initiated in 1998 to respond to limited health services and extensive poverty of the people of Kagumu, registered in 1999 as a community based organization (CBO) and as an NGO in 2004. KADO currently operates in Pallisa, Kibuku, Budaka, Butaleja, Namutumba, Kaliro, Iganga, Mayuge Luuka, Kamuli and Buyende in Eastern Uganda, Soroti, Serere, Kaberamaido, Dokolo, Amolatar Apac and Lira in northern Uganda and, Arua and Zombo in the west Nile region. Its head offices is in Kibuku District in Eastern Uganda and has a branch office in Dokolo District in Northern and Arua in west Nile region of Uganda. KADO ultimately endeavours to serve the most vulnerable without discrimination, network and partner with likeminded organizations and individuals working under set government policies, priorities to respond to poverty reduction and community led development.
