UGEM is a Ugandan National Non-Governmental organization committed to serving the most vulnerable populations of society including Children,Youth Women Key and Priority Population through Heath, Education, Livelihoods and Economic Empowerment. The organization was established in December 2013 and became operational in January 2014. The organization prides itself in mobilizing and empowering local communities to reduce risks and vulnerabilities. UGEM’s work is aligned to and promotes the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and is also aligned to the National Development Plan (NDP 11)
