Founded in 1992, the Mukono Multi-Purpose Youth Organisation (MUMYO) is a Not-for-Profit, Non-Governmental Organisation dedicated to various issues aimed at promoting the rights and well being of the young men and women, with emphasis on the marginalised groups. Its mission is promote entrepreneurial skills development among the young people, women and men, through training and advocacy using human based approach. It is incorporated and registered with the National Bureau of Non-Governmental Organizations of Uganda. The young people present an opportunity for a sustained effort to participate in the country’s development process because they possess greater energy, work force and potential. We believe that engaging the youth and addressing their needs is critical to our organization mission to ending poverty and empowering them to take charge of their destiny and become forces of social change.
