Registered on 22 August 1994 as SAVANNAH SUNRISE MEDICAL CENTRE LIMITED in Kampala, it started operations in March 1998 trading as SAS Clinic. SAS started with a branch on Plot 76 Kampala Road right in the heart of the central business district of Kampala. SAS Clinic—Kampala Road has since grown into a 24 hour-onestop health centre offering a very wide range of medical services under one roof. In 2005, SAS opened a second branch in Bugolobi, a business and residential suburb approximately 7 Km (4.3 miles) to the east of Kampala.
