Hope for Women Development Uganda (HOWODU) is a Non-Profit Organization, which brings hope to the young girls and grassroots women through empowering and advocating for their rights.

This is based on a collective goals, seeking a better society that empowers and advocates for the rights of young girls and the grassroots Women.

This is to achieve a future Society transformation where equality is a priority. We all know that in our society today with most marginalized communities, grassroots women bear the effect of injustice.

As Hope for Women Development Uganda, we are working with communities to fight poverty and bring hope to the grassroots women in Uganda so that there are equal chances and opportunities for such women and girls.

Therefore, there should be no room for discrimination in the society.

At HOWODU, we stand with young girls and grassroots women and we affirm not only their rights to be heard, but also work to empower them and create the change they need both for themselves and for all people in their communities.

HOWODU implements programs that directly touch the needs and challenges of young girls and grassroots Women in terms of social, economic, political, and cultural empowerment of women.

The focus is basically tapped to the disadvantaged Cohort group of women and girls, and prepares them for self-present and future- sustainability.
