LANGO YOUTH DEVELOPMENT NETWORK (LAYDNET) UGANDA; Started as a Community-Based Organisation (CBO) in 2008, now operating as a National Non-governmental, Non-Political, Not-for-profit Organisation with a strong governing Board and management. It is a youth focus development organization that leads a web of over 350 youth/women groups, majorly in the Lango sub-region. LAYDNET’s thematic areas include; Promotion of Health Services, Environmental Conservation and Sustainability, Human Rights, Good Governance, agribusiness, Agriculture, and Livelihoods. LAYDNET was set up by groups of girls from the nine districts and a city in the Lango Sub-Region namely of Lira, Kole, Oyam, Kwania, Dokolo, Amolatar, Otuke, Alebtong, Apac and Lira City has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the entire eight districts.
