Emqameni Lodge, bringing the wild to urban life whilst at the same time being a home away from home. We started operating in 2002. In 1999 land was bought from a private seller and construction started with a building of three self-catering units. At present we have 9 rooms with 6 of them none self-catering. A dining room was also constructed that accommodates 20-30 people. We now have a furnished conference hall that can take up to 150 people plus a braai facility. Nested in the suburb of Hillside and only less than 5 minutes’ drive from the city center, Emqameni lodge was designed for the business traveler and the tourist in mind. For the business traveler, it is quiet thereby offering an atmosphere to work in peace. For the tourist it is a retreat from the bustle and buzzy life of the city.
