Cool healthy mountain air, evenings around a log fire, trout fishing, horse riding and stunning scenery are just a few of the reasons for visiting the Highland Fishing Lodge high up on the Rift Valley escarpment and discovering a different aspect of the African bush. The Highland Lodge is built on a private 2000 acre estate surrounded by pristine tea estates, dark thick montane forest and rugged bush land interlaced with lakes, rivers and streams. Although not on the usual 'tourist' route, the Highlands offer their own brand of magic. Ideal for relaxing with a good book or burning off energy there is something for everyone. The estate is a working farm, providing organic meat and vegetables for the table here, and at our other camps. Just nine log cabins are available as either double or family rooms overlooking the lake and golf course.
