The Selous is Africa?s largest and wildest protected sanctuary with a million large animals. Selous Great Water Lodge is a few kilometres outside the Mtemere Gate on the banks of the Rufiji River with truly spectacular views, especially at sunset ? the river is about a mile wide at this point. This is a small, friendly lodge where you will feel completely at home and enjoy excellent food. Dinner is served outside under the stars with white table cloths and candles. The lodge now has four en-suite thatched rooms, three of which can comfortably accommodate a Parks Served: Selous Game Reserve
