ABDUL AZIZ ATTA MEMORIAL COLLEGE (AAAMCO) is a renowned secondary school located in Okene, Kogi State, Nigeria. The institution was established in 1923 (or cited as 1923/1933) under the colonial administration to train young Nigerians. Over time it became Central School Okene, then Provincial Secondary School, Government Secondary School and later renamed in 1972 to honor the distinguished Nigerian civil servant Late Alhaji Abdul-Aziz Atta. The college offers full secondary school programmes (junior and senior) and many notable alumni, and is currently being upgraded with modern facilities such as biology, agronomy and mechatronics laboratories, CBT centre, amphitheatre, music and arts studios and other amenities. As an historic institution in Kogi Central, it serves students across Okene and the surrounding district, and is unique for its legacy, alumni network and the breadth of its upgraded facilities.
