Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) is a federal tertiary health institution in Jos, Plateau State, established in 1975 (formally recognized in 1981). The hospital functions both as a major referral facility and an academic training centre. It has over 40 departments covering clinical specialties such as internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics & gynaecology, paediatrics, radiology, pathology, emergency & trauma, among others. JUTH services include inpatient and outpatient care, research, community health and teaching of health professionals.
