Mugranoce is a company that was started as a dream by its two co-founders in 1998. The two by then had no idea of what the road ahead would be like, so in 1999 after playing around with names, came up with Mugranoce (a combination of Muno & Grace). On the 7th of December 2000, the co-founders got married & for a while Mugranoce's dreams were shelved with the 'realities' of life: establishing a family, getting jobs for income, and raising children. Due to Zimbabwe's roller-coaster economy, they left for Zambia in 2007 to seek a better economic situation for their family. After working a while, they began to refocus on Mugranoce. The Company logo was designed by Kabwe Mwesa (our nephew) and has remained unchanged since he designed it in 2008. Music Crossroads is a non-profit organisation which uses the power of music education, professional training, live performances and promotion of young talents to support the development of the music education sector and the music industry in the culturally rich southern African region. Our unique Music Crossroads Academies in Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe, established in 2013, empower talented young musicians with an affordable and innovative music education program and the necessary tools for a career in music. Music Crossroads was initiated in 1995 by Jeunesses Musicales International organising annual festivals, international band tours, and training many young talents in Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. One of the biggest and most exciting cultural development initiatives in Africa, the Music Crossroads program has involved more than 150,000 young musicians and reached more than a million audience members in southern Africa.

The Zimbabwe College Of Music (ZCM) Was Established In 1948 By A Dedicated Musician And Teacher Eileen Reynolds Who Saw The Need For A Centre To Be Established Where Music Could Be Taught And Appreciated. It Was Then Officially Constituted In July 1948. The College Exists As A Trust And Offers Music Education From The National Certificate In Music To The Bachelor Of Music Degree In Jazz And Ethnomusicology. The Teaching Philosophy Is Multi-Cultural, So The Programmes Embrace Western Classical, Zimbabwean Traditional And Jazz Curricula.
